What information do I need to conduct a background check on someone?

I am hiring someone to walk my dog but do not feel comfortable with a stranger coming near my dog. What information do I need to run the background check? Just a social security number? Also does the person have to give their consent to do that?|||I'm not sure about the legal consent because you can do a background check without a SSN a name and a date of birth have proven sufficient enough. Sometimes just a name and city or address.|||You just need their name and birth date usually.

How I Ran A Background Check And Found Some Serious Sh**!!

You can just run a background check on yourself. It is really easy to do. I used a website and they had lots of info on everything. I was SURPRISED!

I also found out that my handyman was a criminal and spent time in prison for selling drugs!!

There was also a listing for marriage certificates, bankruptcy, death records and a bunch of other stuff.

If you decide to run the background check on yourself or anyone else, go to www.mgrmanagement.info|||There are sites that render background check. All you need to have is the complete name of the person you want to research and his address as well.|||i wouldn't give you my SSN to walk a dog.

just 1st, and last name with an address should work.

no you don't need consent, all the info will just be public record.|||An SSN will work and yes, you need legal consent
