For an international flight.
I was going to england one summer and I had the best ever flight over because I could choose what movies I wanted to watch (so basically all the movies I never got to see when they came out)
I believe it was a Boeing 777, am I right, or is it a different plane? Proof would be awesome.|||Delta currently has a number of aircraft configured with personal TVs in the seats. For your transatlantic flight, you are probably right that it was a 777. It could have also been 767, as they are also long-range planes currently equipped with personal TVs for Delta.
Delta recently merged with Northwest Airlines, greatly expanding their fleet, so in the future, their A330 and 747 aircraft will also have Personal TVs (PTVs)
For shorter range domestic flights, Delta also flies 737s with PTVs, and some of their 757s as well.
If you are flying in the future, and want to determine what entertainment will be onboard your flight, SeatGuru is a great resource. Especially with Delta, where similar aircraft have greatly differing cabins, SeatGuru will help you pick through the codes and find out which cabin you will be flying on. (for example, a 76P is a 767 with PTVs, whereas a 76G has conventional overhead TVs)
Hope this helps.|||Well Delta has many planes with entertainment systems. The planes are some 737's, 777's, most 767's, and select 757's. If you need more information you can go to the Delta website
