I'm a plane spotter and I was wondering if there was a site which had an easy way of finding out a plane's location or future plans if all I have is the registration number. For example, I'd like to see all of the US Airways jets in the legacy liveries. I have the registration numbers of the planes and would like to find out when they'll be visiting Philadelphia.|||The example you gave to track, an AIRLINE FLIGHT, is NOT trackable online via its registration on any site.
You won't find airline flights via their registrations as their flight plans are not filed under their ship numbers, only their flight numbers. ATC doesn't even know what ship number the flight is when they track it. Only aircraft with plans filed under their N-numbers are trackable via such sites with a registration.
In order to track the US Airways legacy commemorative paint schemes, you will actually have to know the flight numbers they are operating as at any given time.
For general flight tracking, http://www.flightaware.com is the best.|||You could try http://flightaware.com/ but you have to make an account. It doesn't take too long. It's a pretty good site.|||BEST bet is the Flight Tracking. http://www.flightarrivals.com/cgi-bin/We鈥?/a>
