What information is the minimum the public can see in My Profile?

I want my account totally anonymous to the public. I do not want to be located, or identified, by my account information. Is that possible if I complete "My Profile"? Am I required to complete "My Profile" to use my account?|||Only a few things which you can put different info in, so as to remain anonymous.|||If you are talking about your Yahoo! Answers profile, in looking at your profile, you have already made it so that no one can IM you, or email you. And well if Beth is your first name and do not want to use that you can change it when you edit your profile. You can use any name you want. The other things you can do is make your Questions and Answers private so no one else can read them and do not allow fans or make contacts. Be sure to also choose not to share Yahoo Answers updates.





HOW DO I MAKE MY Q%26amp;A PRIVATE


1.Click on My Profile in the upper right on the green border.


2.On your Profile page click Edit My Info in the middle column on the Edit My Profile. Scroll down to the Privacy section.


3.Check the box “On my public profile, hide my Q%26amp;A from people who are not my contacts.”


4.Check the box “On my public profile, only show my Answers Network to my Contacts” if you want to hide who your Fans and Contacts are to everybody but your Y!A Contacts.


5.Under “UPDATES” where it says Yahoo! Answers, in the drop down box choose “Don't Share my updates.”


6.When you are done editing your Y!A profile click the blue Preview button and then OK.

Now if you are talking about your regular Yahoo Profile. You have some control as to who can see your profile and what they can see. You can also choose to hide your profile.
