Information on how airplanes work?

Please suggest books or links (preferably links) that have information on how airplanes work. Thanks.|||Try this site http://www.allstar.fiu.edu/aero/airflylv鈥?/a>|||Well, that stupid song about the "air beneath the wings" is a farce. It's also the flow of air above the wings . . . I know that. And I can't even fly . . . Well . . . I can . . . But I am NOT about to admit it in this forum.|||Wow hmmm . Janes has very good information on aircraft at any library. Also if you have a base around with a museum they have lots of info on that sort of thing. I have been in aircraft for 23 years and can tell you a very good place to find info is ask if you can walk trough a hangar and have someone explain it to you as well.|||Ask Jeeves or How do planes fly.

I know in detail but it would take two hours to explain it.|||Jeppesen will have the books you need. If link is no good go to www.jeppesen.com and look for pilot training material.

Get the airplane flying handook, or get the advanced aerodynamics for navy pilots book. You can find these at most of your local flight school/fbo's..Good luck!
